Annual Festival Brings Music, Art and Environmental Action to Downtown DeLand

Delandapalooza’s Love Earth Music & Art Festival will take place from 1:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m., April 18, in historic Downtown DeLand, Florida, uniting music, art and environmental engagement in a community-centered celebration aligned with Earth Day.

Now in its 14th year, the festival features more than 140 original acts across 21 stages, spanning rock, folk, blues, hip hop, jazz, pop and experimental music. This year introduces the inaugural Love Earth Music & Art Festival, weaving sustainability, science and creative expression into its longstanding platform for independent artists.

Interactive Earth Day programming anchors the event, with hands-on exhibits and demonstrations exploring environmental challenges, green technology and community-driven solutions. Youth programming includes a Youth Art Contest, Sidewalk Chalk Art Competition and Science Fair, offering students opportunities to present ideas that support environmental well-being.

Local schools, nonprofits, businesses and community groups host educational booths and workshops, while additional highlights include art displays, food vendors and craft markets featuring local makers. Family-friendly zones offer children’s activities, live art and interactive science experiences.

Admission is available through advance tickets priced at $15 online and $20 at the gate. Tickets are available online at ssa.cc/delandapalooza.html. The event receives support from sponsors including Yuengling, Southern RV, 95.7 WHOG, The West Volusia Beacon newspaper and Sandman Law. For more information, call 386-308-2694.
